Graveyard of Trees

In the Olympic National Park, tucked into the middle of the Kalaloch Campground, is a small, but unique woodland, that is more graveyard than forest.  It's a densely packed, chaotic assemblage of mostly dead trees, stumps, limbs and roots, some with a sparse covering of green moss.  I spent an afternoon photographing this almost lifeless collection of trees, which stands in such contrast to the lush forests of the Olympic National Park.
