Winter ice lies frozen along the shore of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. The ice of Lake Michigan was lit by the sun's spotlights shining through the drifting clouds, from the beach at Indiana Dunes National Park.  The ice of Lake Huron was lit by a cold and dreary sky, from a remote shore in Ontario.  The wind batters the ices and snow against the shoreline, creating interesting forms and textures.  But it was way too cold for me!
