Between Fall and Winter in Acadia

After the leaves fall but before the snow flies, Acadia National Park is in a quiet transition filled with a more subtle and somber beauty. The stunning fall colors give way to a more stark and stormy landscape as winter approaches. The interstices between fall and winter illuminate a changing landscape and reveal images formerly hidden by Acadia's gobsmacking scenery of earlier seasons.
